When I write as the Artistic Director of Peer Productions, I have the absolute privilege of being surrounded by like-minded creatives and young actors who are just as invested in the project as I am, so my work becomes all the more enriched for it. A big chunk of this process involved me bringing bits of scripts, ideas, and problems and asking the young cast and our director, Ruth, to stage them, re-stage them, improvise, and discuss them.
